Omaha Police and other law enforcement agencies continue to investigate a fake "shots fired" report at Omaha South High School.
They say it was actually a "swatting" call to bring a massive police response, which did happen.
Officers rushed to the school at 24th and J Streets Monday afternoon after receiving a call that a student had been shot, and the shooter was still inside the building.
They were followed by parents and family members.
Police say the call, which was made directly to the police station and not to Douglas County 9-1-1 communications, was later determined to be a prank.
