(Springville, IA) -- The Linn County Sheriff's Office confirms a two-car crash on Highway 151 near Springville, Iowa Wednesday.
According to police, 43-year-old Amie Baker failed to yield her 2009 red Toyota Sienna minivan in the median at Highway 151 and Springville Rd, resulting in her crashing into 25-year-old Autumn Chambers' Honda Fit which was traveling westbound.
The crash resulted in the minivan coming to a stop in the ditch and the Honda in the intersection.
Chambers was airlifted to the University Hospitals and clinics while her passenger, Summer Chambers, was transported to the same hospital via ambulance.
They are both being treated for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Baker and her passenger were not injured.
A charge for Failure to Yield against Baker is pending.
