(Moline, IL) -- The Moline Fire Department Bureau of Investigations is investigating a structure fire in downtown Moline.
Fire crews responded to reports of smoke coming from the inside of a home in the 700 block of 23rd Street a little after 3:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Upon arrival crews discovered flames emerging from the front windows of a two-story multi-family building and discovered there were no working smoke detectors inside.
Crews were able to extinguish the fire in about 15 minutes.
No one was displaced or injured because of the fire.
