(Mason City, IA) -- The Canadian Pacific Holiday train rolls into northern Iowa tonight.
The decked-out train is due in Mason City at 7:45 p.m.
On Friday it heads to northeast Iowa with stops in Ossian, Marquette, Lansing, and New Albin.
The train features live performances and makes a donation to the local food shelf at each stop.
The mission of the holiday train is to contribute to local food pantries by raising money, food and awareness for the important work that food banks do in their communities
