A suspect in a deadly shooting earlier this month at a south - central Omaha hotel is back in Nebraska to face charges after extradition from Missouri.
Omaha Police say 60-old Daniel Nickels is booked into Douglas County Corrections on a first-degree murder charge.
Nickels is accused in the fatal shooting of 26-year - old Esmeralda Vargas at the "Comfort Inn and Suites" near 70th and Grover Streets and then fleeing to Missouri where he was eventually arrested.
