(Davenport, IA) -- Construction is finally done on a major Davenport street. The city says work rebuilding and widening East 53rd Street between Brady Street and Elmore Avenue is complete. The four-year project cost just over 16-million dollars.
Public Works advises drivers to watch for limited, temporary lane closures as crews do touch-up work over the next few weeks.
