(Moline, IL) -- MidAmerican Energy is slowly getting the power back on for Illinois Quad Cities residents this morning.
Power has been restored to about 1400 people in Rapids City, and just over 300 customers in the Cityline neighborhood on the Moline-Rock Island border.
Just under 300 residents in the Homewood neighborhood in Moline, and near Black Hawk State Park in Rock Island remain without power as of 8:00 a.m.
The outage began at about 4:15 a.m. this morning.
MidAmerican hasn't given a firm time for restoration of service.
