(Rock Island, IL) -- The Quad City Kwanzaa Celebration will be held on Thursday, December 28th in Rock Island.
The celebration will include music, poetry, dancing, speakers, traditional clothing, kids crafts and more.
The event is free to all, and it is suggested that people bring a canned or non-perishable food item when attending.
Those food items will then be donated to the Rock Island's Second Baptist Church food pantry.
The event will be at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center at 630 9th Street in Rock Island and begins at 5:00 p.m.
