Now that it's a new year, some Nebraska state employees, who have been working from home since Covid 19 hit, return to their offices Tuesday under an executive order from the Governor.
However, the Nebraska Association for Public Employees is challenging the Governor's order before the State Commission of Industrial Relations asking that both sides meet at the bargaining table.
On Friday, the Commission did grant the union’s motion for temporary relief while the matter is considered at a future date.
The Governor issued the order in November.
