(Fayette County, IA) -- Two people are facing charges after a fight on New Year's Day in Fayette County.
Police say they happened in Hawkeye, Iowa a little after midnight on January 1st and involved baseball bats and a broken windshield. Investigators say 19 year-old Margarett Osterhaus of Elkader and 20 year-old Nathaniel Steel of Independence were taken into custody following the incident. Both are facing multiple charges.
No serious have been reported.
