(Moline, IL) -- There is a new Public Works Director for the City of Moline.
Denver Schmitt was officially sworn in by city officials Wednesday, January 10, at a council meeting.
The city's website says Denver brings a wealth of experience to the role due to his extensive background in both public works, human resources and other public service positions.
Most recently, he was the former human resources generalist for the City of Bettendorf.
With Schmitt appointed, all of Moline's city department positions are filled up.
