(Burlington, IA) -- A southeast Iowa man is sentenced to federal prison for possession of child pornography.
53 year-old Donald Ping of Burlington was sentenced to 60 months in federal prison on January 23rd. Investigators say they received an online tip that Ping had uploaded child pornography to social media. A search warrant involving Ping's social media account and cell phone was served, and investigators found child pornography on both.
After his prison time, he'll serve five years of supervised release.
