(Iowa City, IA) -- The Iowa City Fire Department will soon be providing free child safety seat checks.
On Wednesday, February 14 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., anyone is welcome to bring their child safety seat, vehicle, and child to Fire Station #4 located at 2008 Dubuque Road.
According to Iowa City Public Safety, there will be certified technicians available to answer questions, check for recalls, and assist in making sure your child safety seat is correctly installed.
Walk-ins are welcome.
