(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- A Cedar Rapids man is facing multiple charges after a weekend bomb scare.

Police say 44 year-old Dennis Spratte, Jr. is being charged with possession of explosive devices. Officers responded to reports of a suspicious device in the 1900 block of Western Drvice SW. Police say the device turned out to be an improvised explosive device left next to a burning cigarette.
