(Bettendorf, IA) -- There is still one more portion of the old I-74 Bridge in the Quad Cities to be blown up.
What's left of the anchorage that held the bridge cables on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River will be demolished with explosives on Sunday morning at 7 a.m.
Explosives were used in June and August of last year to take down the old bridge's towers and cables.
Interstate 74 over the new bridge will be closed while Sunday's demolition takes place.
