Pointing to a need to rebuild the operating model amid industry-wide increases in costs for talent, transportation, workers, security, and insurance, the board of directors says the "Maha Music Festival" is off for this year. \
Organizers say they do plan to have the non-profit event in 2025.
In a news release, "Maha" organizers say they will now spend this year, "recalibrating and exploring options and opportunities — including national partnerships —- with a plan to return strong in 2025."
The board vote to cancel this year was unanimous.
