The investigation continues, and an initial court appearance will be next for a person in custody in connection with a fatal weekend crash in the northwest part of the Omaha Metro.
The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says 35-year old Joshua Kuhl of Carter Lake was treated at a hospital, then booked into Douglas County Corrections on suspicion of Motor Vehicle Homicide, D-U-I resulting in serious injury times two, and D-U-I with two prior convictions.
The crash was early Sunday at 168th and Nebraska Highway 36.
Four people were taken to a hospital where one was declared deceased.
No name has been released while relatives are notified.
Investigators say a pickup was northbound on 168th St., failed to stop at a stop sign, and entered Highway 36.
A westbound SUV then collided with the pickup.
