A traffic stop turned into a police chase reaching speed of more than 140 mile per hour on Interstate 80 in the Des Moines metro last night, before ending in a crash.
Police dispatch tracked the Chevy Camaro from West Des Moines though the metro, and East to Newton.
The car later crashed exiting I-80.
Iowa State Patrol said the driver had warrants out of Florida.
