The forecasters at the Omaha office of the National Weather Service, located in Valley, say very high fire danger conditions are expected Friday afternoon, primarily in southeast Nebraska and far southwest Iowa, and the dry, breezy conditions will persist through Monday, leading to the potential for very high fire danger conditions in at least a portion of the area each day.
They say the highest potential may be in southeast Nebraska on Monday.
