(Rock Island, IL) -- A major fire in the Quad Cities over the weekend was deliberately set.
The Rock Island Fire Marshal released a report this morning indicating that the fire that destroyed the Rock Island Livestock Auction Barn Saturday night is being investigated as an arson.
The fire destroyed several buildings over a three-block area, but was contained to the property by firefighters.
The investigation is now in the hands of the Rock Island Police Department.
