(West Liberty, IA) -- A former eastern Iowa business is now in a new location.
Crews moved the old Beers and St. John Company Coach Inn building in West Liberty on Monday, February 26, .
The former stagecoach inn and tavern has been relocated three miles from its original site on Highway 6, to Heritage Park in West Liberty, where it will reopen as a museum.
The building predates the state of Iowa and opened in 1841.
