The Douglas County Election Commission says some polling place changes will be implemented for the upcoming May 14th, 2024, Statewide Presidential Primary Election.
Election Commissioner Brian Kruse says the number of polling places in Douglas County will go down from 212 in the 2022 elections to 210 for the 2024 elections.
Voters whose polling place will be affected by these changes will be sent a postcard in April.
Voters have the option to request a ballot be mailed to them.
Voters wishing to request an early voting ballot may visit the Douglas County Election Commission website at www.votedouglascounty.com, and on the home page under "Shortcuts" choose "Vote Early" and print the application.
