(Muscatine, IA) -- The city of Muscatine is suing it's former city attorney.
In a lawsuit filed late last month, the city says Matthew Brick acted against the city's interests. The city cites Brick's own testimony to the Iowa Supreme Court last year that he advised former city administrator Gregg Mandsager [[ MAWND-saw-ger ]] leading up to his termination, without the city's knowledge.
Mandsager is suing the city for wrongful termination.
A disciplinary board suspended Brick from practicing law for six months over the incident.
