(Linn County, IA) -- Linn County is taking steps to address the opioid crisis by installing overdose vending machines.
Seven machines will be stocked with free naloxone to treat narcotic overdoses, along with wound-care kits, and sharps containers.
The machines are funded by 150-thousand dollars from opioid drug manufacturer settlements.
The public health department hasn't yet said where, or when the machines will be available.
