Quad Cities Niabi Zoo Still Cleaning Up From January Blizzard

(Coal Valley, IA) -- It will be more than a month before families can head back to Niabi Zoo.

Managers say they're still repairing January blizzard damage to the big cat exhibit and several other buildings.

The zoo usually opens in mid-April, but it will likely be the end of April at the earliest.
