(Des Moines, IA) -- A man is in custody after a gunshot was reported on Des Moines' north side.
Des Moines Police say they received a call from someone claiming to be threatened by a man with a handgun. Police say when officers arrived at the scene in the 3400 block of MLK Jr. Parkway, the suspect, a 65 year-old man, ran from the scene, fell while running, and the gun accidentally went off.
No one was hurt, and the suspect is now in custody.
