(Des Moines, IA) -- A local artist is creating a project on the Iowa Women of Achievement Bridge to honor women's history.
Laura Formanek will use projected images including newspaper clippings, photos, and more onto the bridge pathway as part of her Walking With Women to Greatness project. Speakers along the bridge will add audio to what she plans to be an immersive project. Formanek says she's still in the planning phase of the project and continues to research, raise funds, and apply for grants.
