(Moline, IL) -- Moline Police are investigating after a woman was found dead on the side of a road Near Hamilton Elementary School early this morning.
Police responded to reports of a woman lying along the side of a road at the intersection of 7th street and Wildwood Drive at around 4:30 a.m. and discovered a 45-year-old deceased female.
Police say she had been reported missing by her family Sunday afternoon, and that the circumstances of her being missing were not suspicious, however, her family was concerned for her wellbeing.
Police say she had a significant medical history and believe that could be related to her death.
They do not believe there is any foul play involved.
Traffic was briefly detoured on 7th Street and was reopened by 7:27 a.m.
