Iowa avenges National Championship loss, beats LSU for Final Four spot

Caitlin Clark poured in 41 points as Iowa knocked off LSU to punch its ticket to a second straight Final Four.

It's the third time the Hawkeyes have reached the Final Four in program history.

The Tigers led after a high-scoring first quarter, before Iowa chipped away to tie the game at half. The Hawkeyes then outscored LSU by 11 in the third quarter to take the lead for good.

Along with Clark's 41, Iowa got double-digit outings from Senior guards Kate Martin and Sydney Affolter. Four Tigers ended in double figures in the loss, led by Flau'jae Johnson's 23 points.

The Hawkeyes are now heading to Cleveland, Ohio for the Final Four, squaring off with the 11-time National Champion Connecticut Huskies. Tip-off is scheduled for 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
