One person is dead and one is hospitalized after a shooting Wednesday morning on the South side of Des Moines.
It happened just before 4:30 at the Ramada next to the Des Moines International Airport.
This is the city's second homicide of 2024. The first happened earlier this month at an apartment complex just South of downtown Des Moines.
DMPD is expected to provide more information later in the day.
