Susan Bazis is confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as a judge for the Federal District of Nebraska.
She had the support of Nebraska's U.S. Senators during the nomination and confirmation proceedings.
Bazis has been a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Nebraska Federal District, overseeing both civil and criminal matters.
She served on the state court bench in Douglas County from 2007 to 2016, handling criminal, civil, probate, and protection order cases.
Bazis was also the Presiding Judge from 2010 to 2013.
