(Lincoln, NE) The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says an inmate is missing from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln.
They say 23-year old Alex Reynoso Vargas was out of the facility for job orientation and did not return Thursday evening.
Staff went to his last known location near 22nd and “D” Streets in Lincoln and found his electronic monitor.
Reynoso Vargas started his sentence on June 14th, 2023: Zero to three years for terroristic threats and third degree domestic assault out of Saline County.
He has a tentative release date of this August 11th.
Anyone with information is asked to call local police, or the Nebraska State Patrol.
