(North Platte, NE) -- A Utah man is facing multiple charges after Nebraska State Troopers say they found five pounds of fentanyl in his vehicle night near North Platte.
Troopers pulled over 38-year-old Tyrone Cash at around 11:00 p.m. April 7, after they say they observed the suspect driving a Kia SUV without its lights north of Interstate 80 on Jeffers Street.
A search of the vehicle reportedly turned up multiple bags filled with thousands of suspected fentanyl pills as well as a firearm.
Cash is being held in the Lincoln County jail on a $250,000 bond.
