(Davenport, IA) -- Today is the final day to file your federal income tax return, but Iowans still have time to file their state tax return.
Iowa's deadline for filing state tax returns is April 30th.
While you can file for a federal extension, the state of Iowa doesn't grant extensions to file. But, if you've paid at least 90-percent of your tax liability by April 30th, you can take until October 31st to file your return.
