(Lincoln, NE) -- A man in Lincoln is accused of shooting himself in the hand after waking up from a bad dream.
Police say the 68-year-old told them he woke up from the dream and thought someone was breaking into his home.
They say he shot his gun and fired without realizing his hand was in the line of fire.
The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is facing a charge for unlawful discharge of a gun.
