(Rock Island, IL) -- A woman facing theft charges for skip-scanning items at several Iowa HyVee stores has now been charged in Illinois.
Forty year-old Linaya Bennett from Silvis, is accused of failing to scan multiple items at self-checkout at Hy-Vee stores.
She faces nearly 40 counts of theft totaling over $4,000, and a charge of using her daughter to aid in the reported thefts.
