Omaha Police Arrest Shooting Suspect

Omaha Police make an arrest in connection with a shooting earlier this month that injured two men.

Investigators say 23-year old Johnny Chatmon of Omaha is in custody in connection with the shooting April 13th near 60th Ave & Maple Street.

While officers were attempting to locate a scene, officers were advised that two shooting victims had walked into an emergency room.

Police say 21 year old Johnathan and 22 year old Killian Rife, both of Omaha, suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Officers located shell casings and blood at the scene.

Chatmon is jailed on two counts of 1st Degree Felony Assault, two counts of Use of a weapon - gun - to commit a felony, and an unrelated warrant out of Sarpy County.
