The National Weather Service Office in Valley says severe weather is likely across much of eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa Friday afternoon and evening, including the possibility of hail up to three inches in diameter, a few strong tornadoes, and thunderstorm winds up to 70 mph.
They say much of eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa are in an enhanced risk of severe weather, with the best timeframe for severe storms from 2 p.m. through 8 p.m.
