(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport's interim city attorney plans to retire next week.
According to an April 2nd letter acquired through a Freedom of Information request by the Times, Brian Heyer's last day will be May 1st.
Davenport Council held a contentious meeting earlier this month where they removed an agenda item to ratify Heyer's appointment and a pay structure.
