(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- 1,400 students from 65 eastern Iowa schools will take part in an interactive construction showcase tomorrow.
The Build My Future Construction Career Day will give students an opportunity to get a taste of a job in the trades
The event is being staged by the Future Builders of Iowa with volunteers from 50 area construction and trades companies donating their time to teach what they hope is the next generation of tradesmen and women.
The showcase takes place at Hawkeye Downs Expo Center.
