Beginning Tuesday, Douglas County residents impacted by the tornadoes can receive free laundry service.
This is set up in the parking lot of the "Walmart Supercenter" at 169th and West Maple Road.
Douglas County Emergency Management says it’s a collaboration between "Matthew 25: Ministries," a Cincinnati -based nonprofit, "Procter & Gamble," and Walmart.
The Tide Mobile Laundry Unit and a mobile shower trailer unit will be available.
The service is available from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. through Friday of this week.
The laundry unit will be on-site with volunteers available to wash, dry, and fold up to two loads of laundry per household daily.
Residents can drop off their clothes and will receive a text message when their laundry is ready for pick-up.
Batteries, first-aid kits, and personal care supplies will be distributed throughout impacted neighborhoods.
