Des Moines Police are identifying the motorcyclist who was killed in a crash last Friday night.
26-year old Nicholas Edward Perez died from his injuries after a crash with an SUV on the city's South Side.
He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
This is the city's fifth traffic-related death of 2024, and fourth involving a motorcycle.
