Omaha/Council Bluffs Severe Weather Possible

The Meteorologists at the Omaha National Weather Service Office in Valley say severe weather is expected Monday afternoon into evening, with the greatest risk between four p.m. through ten p.m.

They say either a slight or enhanced risk of severe weather is forecast for the entire area with all types of severe weather possible: isolated tornadoes, large. hail, and damaging winds.

The greatest threats are from damaging winds and large hail, with communities in southeast Nebraska and southwest Iowa under a 10% risk of hail greater than 2 inches in diameter and damaging winds of 74 mph or greater.
