(Ely, IA) -- A boil order is in effect for the city of Ely through Friday, May 17th.
The city says the order is in response to a failed cholrine pump on the city's second well, and maintenance is scheduled for the city's first pump. Residents are encouraged to boil water during the time both pumps are out of commission.
