Police Investigate Overnight Shooting at Levi Carter Park

(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police are investigating a shooting in the 400 block of Carter Lake Shore Drive. Officers were called to the area early Saturday, just after midnight, for a possible shooting at the Levi Carter Park pavilion. As officers arrived, several vehicles fled the park. Two female juveniles arrived a short time later at UNMC with gunshot wounds. The two were then transported by ambulance to another hospital. Both victims are expected to survive.
