(Davenport, IA) -- A vigil is being held tonight in Davenport to mark the one-year anniversary of the partial collapse of an apartment building downtown.

The collapse of The Davenport building at 324 Main Street killed Branden Colvin Senior, Ryan Hitchcock and Daniel Prien last Memorial Day weekend. A female tenant also had to have her leg cut-off to be rescued from the rubble.

An Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation report on the incident is now in the hands of Scott County Attorney Kelly Cunningham. It's up to her to determine if their was criminal intent that warrant charges being laid.

Several civil cases are pending against the city, the owner, and engineering firms who worked on the building.
