(Davenport, IA) -- Scott County Emergency Management officials are asking residents not to jam up 911 services by making test calls on their cellphones.

911 service for landline phone users has been out since a water main break at a CenturyLink/Lumen phone center in Des Moines yesterday.

Scott County residents can only make 911 calls from cell phones.

Both Davenport and Bettendorf Police have no phone service.

The city of Bettendorf has set up temporary numbers for its city services.
