(Belle Plaine, IA) -- Drought may be over in Iowa, but some municipalities are still feeling the after effects.
The city of Belle Plaine, just west of Cedar Rapids, has put water restrictions in place.
Stephen Beck, Belle Plaine City Administrator tells Iowa's News Now they're still four feet short on rainfall, but recent rains have helped. He hopes they'll be able to lift the restrictions soon.
The latest drought monitor shows Belle Plaine as abnormally dry for the first time in four years.
