Four injured in multiple Sunday morning shootings in Des Moines

Police are investigating after multiple weekend shootings leave at least four injured in Des Moines.

The first happened just before 1:00 a.m. on Sunday on the city's North side. Police found a 36-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound in the 1300 block of East Ovid Avenue. He was listed in serious condition.

A second shooting happened at Ashworth Park less than an hour later, with a 34-year old woman taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Two 19-year old men later arrived at the hospital via private vehicles with gunshot wounds.
