(Lincoln, NE) -- The Lancaster County, Nebraska Sheriff's office says a woman pronounced dead at a Waverly nursing home, started breathing two hours later at a Lincoln funeral home. Chief Deputy Ben Houchin says a funeral home employee at Butherus-Maser & Love noticed the woman was breathing and staff began CPR. Lincoln Fire and Rescue arrived and took 74-year-old Constance Plantz to the hospital. She had been in hospice care and staff believed her death was expected.

Plantz was still alive as of Monday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office says they do not believe there was any criminal wrongdoing.
